Marstrand in Sweden known for its match rancing heritige holds the Frostbite event each year for CB 66 (Swedish SB3), C55 (2 person keelboat, symetric kite) and the 2.4. This year Frostbite was raising money for the Queen Silvia's children hospital which is a very good cause as they are reliant on donations to keep improving their facilities. Ten 2.4's attend this year from 4 countries. Luckly for the first weekend in December it was only 6 degrees and only 12 knots. Marstrand is a bit like Frensham with the wind shifting a lot. The utube video on www.regatta.nu of the CB 66 shows how close the racing is. Although it was quite scary when the 2.4's were coming one way through the start line and the CB66 were coming the other way. I attended Frostbite last year and had so much fun that I went back this year. I borrowed a boat off Arne K Larrson who runs Regatta.nu and caught a Ryan Air flight. The racing was very tight with Jonas Palm leading over night and managing to stay in front at the end of Sunday. Jens Als Anderson came second and Peter Anderson was third. I ended up fourth and had a great weekend. This was the 20th anniversary of Frostbite and will be under new management hopfully next year so the fun can continue. Its the best weekend break money can buy.

Ja, Arnie det blir segling i helgen. Några hemligehter finns inte annars att avslöja. Jag tycker nog att Pelle Lindell kan släpa ner båten från Kviberg. Det är mkt snack om Melges 24 även fån hans sida. Sten Strömberg vill nog ut i kallblåsten oxå.
